Guided visit request

Data: full name, email, phone (optional), approximate date, number of people, language and message.

Purpose: to handle your request and put you in touch with a guide of the association.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)).

Recipients: the association’s guides who can take on the request.

Retention: for as long as needed to handle the request and, afterwards, for the legal limitation periods for possible liabilities.

Request for information about joining

Data: full name, email, phone (optional), guide licence number (optional), working languages and message (optional).

Purpose: to reply to your request and, where appropriate, start the process of joining the association.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)).

Recipients: the people at the association in charge of membership.

Retention: while your request is being dealt with; if your request is not accepted, the data is deleted after 3 months.

Technical data

The server hosting the site automatically logs technical connection data (such as the IP address and the date and time) for security and operational reasons. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Providers and transfers

To host the site, manage the forms and receive messages we use Netlify, Inc. and Google Ireland Ltd. (Gmail y Google Apps Script), which act as processors. This may involve transfers of data outside the European Economic Area, covered by an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Visit requests are shared with guides as explained above. Apart from this and legal obligations, we do not pass your data to third parties. We do not take automated decisions.

Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to guiasmenorca@gmail.com and stating which right you are exercising. Requests are handled by the association’s Secretary.

If you believe the processing does not comply with the rules, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Minors and security

The site includes content suitable for all audiences, but its forms are for people aged 14 or over: if you are under 14 you need the consent of a parent or guardian to send your data. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or site changes. The version in force is the one published on this page.
